Recently I turned down a $7,500 speaking gig and here’s why: (watch the video)
When I started my speaking business, I couldn’t get on stages…no matter what I did.
(It’s pretty annoying when you want to do this for a living but no matter what you do, it’s not working)
Eventually, I was able to get to a point where I could turn down speaking gigs (the first gig I turned down was a couple thousand…and it felt surreal).
And the question is…
…How do you get to a point where you can turn down speaking gigs?
In the beginning, you accept every gig that comes you way because you feel like you have to.
But once your calendar starts to fill up, you start turning down gigs. How do you get to that point?
