Awhile ago I mentioned that we sold a marketing program to a company and now I need to create it (you’ll see videos on this soon).

So I had a call with a realtor who worked at the company but wasn’t selling much and I asked them about how they market themselves. Do you know what he said?

He said he still needed to create a plan.

Me: “How long have you been a realtor?”

Him: “A few years.”

Despite doing it a few years, he still needed to create a plan.

I’ve had this same talk with speakers, coaches, consultants, etc. Everyone is planning to take action rather than taking action.

And that’s what this new video is about.

You need to get out of planning mode and into ‘massive action mode’ if you want to take things up a notch.

After watching the video, you’ll understand why people keep sitting down to plan rather than getting up to take action.

The worst part of ‘planning mode’ is that you feel like you’re getting things done.

If it weren’t illegal to record conversations in Nevada, I would have recorded the conversation with the realtor. You should have heard him….

He talked as if ‘I need to create a plan’ was moving the needle in his business.

I asked, “What marketing methods do you already know?”

Him: “Word of mouth. Door to door. Cold calling. Social media.”

And I’m sitting there dumbstruck.

He doesn’t need a plan, he needs action.

You might be in a similar situation where you’re planning all the time and if you are, watch the video.
