How can you tell who has good advice and who has crappy advice?
To make at least six-figures speaking, you have to sift through the B.S. advice that ‘sounds good’ and get to the advice that works. But how do you know if you should ‘create a one sheet’ etc…is it good advice or bad
In the video, I talk about my mom’s ‘mentor’ in real estate. Yea yea…it’s not speaking, but it still relates to your speaking business. How?
My mom is listening to advice from her ‘mentor’ and do you know what I told her? (You’ll have to watch the video)
Speakers listen to advice from people in Facebook groups, associations, and everywhere in between. If it sounds good, they think the person is a ‘Business God’ and give them all kinds of props.
But one thing you should notice about people at the top and everyone else, is that people who know what they’re doing can smell B.S. from a mile away. They know how to pick the right advice to listen to and the advice to stay away from.
And it’s not as easy as you think.
This video is something you need to take to heart if you want to grow your speaking business because getting the right advice is the difference between getting on stages and staying broke (wondering why things aren’t working).
So how can you tell if you’re getting good advice, watch the video.
